Gary Blackburn & Kevin Taylor
Gary Blackburn, Santa Cruz, California local, and Central Coast veteran singer songwriter Gary, brings together his smooth vocals, and stylized guitar picking to his original compositions in the Country, Rock, Folk, Blues genres. Blending old school with contemporary, Gary along with Kevin Taylor on keyboards, will weave a memorable musical performance of songs that tell stories of love, forgiveness, and the paths that we choose. Gary performs some of his original tunes that include songs off his CD,” Streak of Gray”, and “Daddy’s Boy”. His original songs have been aired on Santa Cruz County radio stations, KPIG 107.5 FM, and KBCZ 89.3 FM, KPYG 94.9 FM Cayucos/SLO, and select radio stations in the Northwest, all the way to Maine. With a well-rounded repertoire, Gary will show both his versatile soft folk blues side along with his high energy rock side, mixing in some great familiar cover songs that will make you get up, and dance. Gary has been performing up and down the Central Coast, and the Bay Area at many various music venues. Gary is ready to perform for y’all in what he likes to call, “Americana with an Edge”.

S.R. Laws
I approach songwriting with a slow burning passion, thoughts and experience written down in word, melody, and chord progression.
My inspiration comes from the incredible storytelling abilities of artists like John Hiatt, Rodney Crowell, Neil Finn, Chuck Prophet, and Ron Sexsmith. Their music has shaped my own artistic journey.
Growing up in Northern California, I had a unique connection to music from an early age. My father worked as a trash collector, and I would spend hours sifting through bags of discarded 45 records. It was like stumbling upon hidden treasures. Some were covered in dirt and grime, while others were in pristine condition. The anticipation of discovering new sounds was exhilarating, and I couldn't wait to drop the needle and immerse myself in the music.
I embarked on a pilgrimage to Texas with just two suitcases and $500 in my bank account. I wanted to immerse myself in the vibrant music scene and learn from fellow songwriters. Austin, known as the "Live Music Capital of the World," provided me with countless opportunities to grow as an artist. The open-mics and songwriters' nights became my training ground, and I soaked up every moment, listening to others share their stories through music.
These days I stay in Sonoma County, California, I work hard as a touring artist and singer-songwriter for my original rock band The Heartsleeves. I invite you to join me on this musical journey, as I share my songs one person at a time in this vast and unpredictable world we live in.
I am thrilled to announce the release of my latest album, "A.M. Sessions." It's a collection of songs that I am incredibly proud of, crafted with the help of old friends and some new collaborators. I would love to tell you more about it sometime. You can grab a copy at one of my shows or find it online.
Migrant Pickers (solo)
If Joe Strummer had come up in Greenwich Village taking guitar lessons from Dave Van Ronk and crate digging for Rev. Gary Davis records, he might sound something like Gary Adler. Acoustic finger-picking guitar with a rock n roll edge, Gary's music combines technical virtuosity with honest, soulful songwriting. Firmly rooted in the subversive tradition of American folk, Gary's performances are an unapologetic act of defiance-- of genre, expectation, and the very laws of physics. It's rock and roll, man, and it's good.
